![]() ![]() Overall though I would say either will do the job well, I just prefer Lastpass's interface and the fact that a company is behind it and I'm paying them for their service/work. I'm not sure bitwarden has a recovery feature. I've actually used this once after I realized I had a typo in my main password. Lastpass has a recovery process if you forget your main password. The overall interface on desktop is a little nicer and of course it would just work in browsers so I didn't have the same annoyance I did with bitwarden (which again is an option apparently). It's a bit more visual and I prefer the app on my phone. ![]() So I tried Lastpass and I liked the interface. Turns out there is an option for this that I'm told after the fact. It just became a hassle and I eventually just didn't use it often. It required you to log into the plugin before you could use it in a browser. I used bitwarden for a while and then I decided to try Lastpass because of an bitwarden interface issue that I did not like. I wasn't sure if I was going to use a standalone password manager or keep using chrome's built in password manager. ![]() I first used Bitwarden because it was free and highly recommended based on searching around the internet. ![]()
